Wedding rehearsal for Bennifer?

In her latest outing with boyfriend Ben Affleck on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of the romcom Marry Me on Tuesday night 8 February, Jennifer Lopez positively glowed in a white lace wedding dress from Giambattista Valli’s “Love” collection.

The 52-year-old singer and actress paired the long-sleeved, full-skirted mini dress with sparkling Jimmy Choo heels, a crystal-studded Dolce & Gabbana clutch and some Dior jewels.

Bennifer is back

Lopez and Affleck (affectionately known as “Bennifer”) rekindled their romance in April 2021, nearly two decades after they were engaged in the early 2000s.

‘Marry Me’: Jennifer Lopez’s wedding-worthy looks

But it’s not wedding bells sounding for the besotted couple…yet. The Waiting for Tonight songstress has been promoting her new movie, Marry Me, in which she stars as musical superstar Kat Valdez alongside Owen Wilson.

In November last year, Lopez donned a Dolce & Gabbana corset dress and veil to perform On My Way, the theme song of Marry Me at the 2021 American Music Awards (AMAs).

The romantic comedy Marry Me opened in cinemas in South Africa last weekend with some original songs by Lopez and global Latin music star Maluma added to the mix.

Marry Me features Lopez as pop superstar Kat Valdez and Owen Wilson as Charlie Gilbert, a math teacher. In a strange twist of fate, these two total strangers agree to marry…and then only get to know each other.

An unlikely romance unfolds as these two different people search for something real in a world where value is based on likes and followers.

Insanity or true romance?

Kat Valdez makes for one half of the “sexiest celebrity power couple on Earth” with her rocker fiancé (Maluma, making his feature-film debut). As Kat and Bastian’s hit single, Marry Me, climbs the charts, they are about to be wed before an audience of their fans in a ceremony that will be streamed across multiple platforms.

In the Madison Square Garden scene, she wears an exquisite sequined bridal gown by Zuhair Murad Couture.

When Kat learns that Bastian has cheated on her, she has a meltdown on stage and ends up marrying a random audience member Charlie Gilbert (Owen Wilson) who has been dragged to the concert by his daughter Lou (Chloe Coleman, HBO’s Big Little Lies) and his best friend (Sarah Silverman).

What begins as an impulsive reaction evolves into an unexpected romance…
