Bayern Munich boss, Julian Nagelsmann, has predicted that incoming Manchester United manager, Ralf Rangnick, will do very well at Old Trafford.

Rangnick is on the verge of becoming Man United’s interim manager until the end of the season.

The 63-year-old has reached an agreement with Man United on a six-month contract, and will then take up a two-year consultancy role.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Bayern Munich’s clash with Arminia on Saturday, Nagelsmann told reporters: “I texted him [Rangnick] and told him I think it’s great. He will do [Manchester] United very well with the way he plays football.

“I believe that United will play good games in the next few weeks and I wish he’ll stay there longer than just next summer.”
