Unity Schools To Reopen On Tuesday To SS3 Students – FG

Federal government has announced that the 104 unity schools in the country will reopen from tomorrow August 4 to SS3 students.  This was made known by the minister of State for Education Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba on Monday August 3.

 

Nwajiuba announced this at the end of a virtual meeting with Commissioners of Education in 36 States and other stakeholders, he also praised Principals of the Colleges for the adequate preparation put in place ahead of tomorrow’s resumption.

The ministry will commence the inspection of colleges across the country today to ascertain the veracity of the report they have received from the principals of the colleges.

A statement by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education (FMoE), Ben Goong read; 

 

“From today, the Honourable Minister of State for Education, Permanent Secretary and Directors will embark on an assessment tour of all Unity Colleges to ascertain and confirm the reports they have received from the Principals of Unity Colleges.”
